This tool on a Mac will let you record phone conversations.
TRx is a personal Mac phone recording program. It lets you record telephone conversations from your Macintosh computer. TRx lets you manually record telephone calls on a phone line connected to the voice modem, or other telephony card on the Mac. This phone recording software records calls which can be controlled manually. System wide hot keys make that simple. Besides, it also shows you the caller-id of the incoming calls. For caller-id support it is necessary that the phone network forwards the id and the phone hardware inside the machine also supports that. If you wanted to put a call on hold, that’s possible and the caller gets to hear an on-hold music or a message. This music and some messages are included in the utility. All incoming call ids can be logged too.
The recording format is WAV or MP3 and can be forwarded by the tool to a given email address. Or, if you prefer, you could record the audio into a CD directly but you will need an optional express burn module to achieve that. Recordings could be edited by a linked editor available. Recording volume is adjusted automatically. Suitable hardware adapters are available for recording mobile calls. The recordings are mirrored for a back up. If an available speech engine is integrated, the recordings could be searched based on keywords. The simple and easy to understand interface makes it easy for the lay user too. This is a very good product and if you are looking for a tool like this, this could be it. Go ahead and try it out.
